You've put everyone else first.

The kids. The business. The team. Your parents. You are the one everybody counts on.

And somewhere along the way, you moved yourself to the bottom of your own list.

Maybe you tried on three outfits this morning and still didn't love the one you picked. Maybe your energy is gone by 3 o'clock. Maybe you know exactly what to do, and you're tired of starting over.

Here's the truth. You're not lazy, and you're not broken. You've been running on empty, without clear goals, without daily habits, and without anyone in your corner.

That can change.

A quiet walking path through the Sonoran desert in Scottsdale at sunrise, with saguaro cactus and a soft pink and blue sky.

It's not an overnight surrender.

Not long ago, life asked me to put everyone else first. For six weeks I cared for my parents, and one by one I let go of every habit that made me me. The early alarm. My morning walk. The gym. My simple meals.

My clothes stopped feeling like mine. My confidence went with them.

That's when I understood: when we lose our good habits, it's a slow process of quitting. One skipped walk. One late night. One "I'll start Monday." It's a hundred little quits.

And I know the way back.

"If a hundred quits got us here, a hundred days can bring us back."

— Deborah Jo Le

Your goals are the destination. Your habits are the vehicle.

Three things bring a woman back to herself. We work on all three.

Goals

Decide what "first" looks like.

You can't put yourself first if you've never decided what first means. Start with your wins from the past year. Then write every goal that comes to mind, and circle the ten that matter most.

A morning routine laid out on gray linen: a dumbbell, an open journal, a water bottle, white sneakers, a small Bible and a cup of coffee.

Habits

Pick habits for your worst day.

Good intentions fade by Wednesday. Habits don't. Choose consistency over intensity, grade yourself every night, and keep score. What gets measured gets done.

Fitness

Your energy walks in first.

Move first thing in the morning. Get strong a few times a week. Decide your plate ahead of time. When your plate is decided, your day is decided.

100 days. Five phases. One woman: you.

  1. Phase 1

    Reconnect

Remember your reason. Get honest about where you are today, and make your first commitments to yourself.

  2. Phase 2

    Reset

Set your daily standards: food, water, walking, preparation and a daily check-in.

  3. Phase 3

    Rebuild

Build strength, stamina and self-trust, one kept promise at a time.

  4. Phase 4

    Reclaim

Keep your standards in real life: restaurants, travel, holidays, work. No apologies.

  5. Phase 5

    Recreate

Reach Day 100, look at the evidence, and choose your standards for the next season. Day 100 is a checkpoint, not a finish line.

Meet Deborah Jo Le

Fitness Champion · Total Recreation Coach

I grew up in Michigan, the girl who loved math and science. Then life happened. I raised four children and poured everything I had into them.

I went back to school for holistic health. I've rebuilt my life more than once, and every time the ground moved under me, I got back up.

I've coached women my whole life: as a cheer coach, a Girl Scout leader, a personal trainer and a private weight loss coach. And I've watched the same truth play out again and again. When a woman gets strong in her body, she gets strong everywhere.

So I created The Recreation Method, to help women get their bodies back, rebuild their confidence and recreate themselves.

I live in Scottsdale, Arizona, with my husband, Jimmy.
